Ocean film - by David Attenborough

Anyone else seen this film?

I saw it on Saturday with my daughter and of course, I cried. No surprise there.

But it has also made me re assess my environmental view. So no more fish for me. 

Funny how I used to be so passionate about the environment and how cynical I have become. Thinking that is was just too late and there was nothing anyone of us could do about it. That the people in places of power just didn't care that they were killing our planet.

So I would recommend the film to you. It is coming out on TV/Streaming, if you google it. Of course,  I would not be allowed to post any other advertising for it here. There is also a book out.

Great man. My daughter and I say that he mustn't ever die.

  • I’m glad you enjoyed it and it made such an impact on you. I think whenever I watch anything with David Attenborough in it I always feel inspired and that he’s somehow opened my eyes to something I didn’t think about before.

    He’s that sort of man and I think he has that impact on so many people. That man is an absolute treasure. A genuine ambassador of Earth. Always loved him and the things he does, I wish more people would listen to him, the world would be a better place if they did.

    I still haven’t watched it but it sounds/looks incredible and your post makes me want to watch it even more. If I get some free time this week I’ll try to fit it in.
