Yes and a bit lactose intolerant, cauli cheese grills are at my limit fo my lactose intake
Had a nice salad with all the trimmings: eggs, pasta salad with tuna, sweetcorn, chickpeas, beetroot, lettuce, grated carrot, peppers, tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, a little fresh basil and mint, a cheeky little balsamic vinaigrette, all washed down with a slightly incongruous G & T.
I'm a huge fan of varied textures and flavours, the stronger the better. I cannot have back-to-back days with only bland food. I'd rather not eat anything if it has to be something bland yet again. My kryptonite is cheese—the smell or taste of it make me gag. Everything else I'll eat, as long as it's not too bland too often.
Are you vegetarian?
Junk food tonight as I'm knackered. Cauliflower cheese grills, potato croquettes and mushy peas.
Yesterday, I made courgette and carrot (both are coarse grated) lasagne - not yet sure what I will make for today's main meal.
I prefer to eat my main meal at lunchtime (so I had better make up my mind soon and get organised).
Update: and the winner is ...
Spinach and coconut dal with pitta and yoghurt.
(Serves 4, but is described as portions keep well for other days).
