How do you dress?

I've often made a few questionable choices with my clothes through the years and have often got it wrong. In the last year or so I've decided to go for comfort over conformity, and I've always been more attracted to bright colours rather than black, grey or beige and the muted tones that seem to be popular these days. I don't want to look like everyone else anymore.

My partner and I recently discovered a shop in Matlock Bath, Derbyshire, and they sell all sorts of cool clothes. It's hippie style so there are patchwork trousers, harem pants, and loose shirts and t-shirts, printed designs etc. I absolutely love it and it's what I wear now. I'm happy to be the weird guy wearing the hat, assorted coloured clothes and sandals or barefoot shoes.

What's your style and what do you like wearing?

  • I wear comfortable clothes only and always the same ones (washed of course ;) ) - luckily in my line of work noone cares how I dress- well at least I hope they don’t :). I’m doing a PhD and work in a lab- so I think as long as I am not coming in with unsafe clothes like shorts, noone minds. I do own very few clothes that I like and I’ll wear my favourites until they break. Comfort is most important- I only wear leggings and shorts especially sports shorts. I own one type of trainer only - which I bought in triplicate so that once my one pair breaks (which they do quite quickly because that’s all I wear) I can just have the same ones again.
