How do you dress?

I've often made a few questionable choices with my clothes through the years and have often got it wrong. In the last year or so I've decided to go for comfort over conformity, and I've always been more attracted to bright colours rather than black, grey or beige and the muted tones that seem to be popular these days. I don't want to look like everyone else anymore.

My partner and I recently discovered a shop in Matlock Bath, Derbyshire, and they sell all sorts of cool clothes. It's hippie style so there are patchwork trousers, harem pants, and loose shirts and t-shirts, printed designs etc. I absolutely love it and it's what I wear now. I'm happy to be the weird guy wearing the hat, assorted coloured clothes and sandals or barefoot shoes.

What's your style and what do you like wearing?

  • Hi Neuroqueer,

If folks have told you it's impossible to dress well without comfort, they're LYING to you. I spent years trying to match the people around me, only to realize that it honestly looked classier to dress in something that I felt comfortable in. Nowadays, I cycle through the same template, adding on pieces here and there for flair, and I always get complimented on my "new" outfits. A new cuff here, a different shoe there, and poof, folks get FOOLED. It's wizardry, friend.

    Keep doing what you're doing,
