Lists

I love how we can get so immersed and feel really happy with our hobbies and stuff. It makes everything worthwhile in my opinion, if you can be really interested in something. Just wanted to say that Smile.

So, anyone read/watch/play any manga/anime/video games?

I also have a few figurines from Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts which I am hoping to collect more of eventually. I might've left some stuff out that I can't think of at the moment.

Feel free to make any lists (can be about any of your interests/hobbies and it doesn't have to be a list!) as a reply. I think it'd be really interesting.

  • Sorry about the late reply! We've been putting our house up for sale so had a lot to sort out recently.

I plan to get Watch Dogs hopefully at some point too. It does seem really great and I heard good things about it. Attack on Titan is extremely epic definitely. I watched it subbed as I read the manga before the anime was announced and couldn't wait to watch it lol Laughing

It's nice to know your manager is a good person. That makes all the difference when trying to adjust or settle in somewhere Smile. Its nice to speak to someone who understands too. It can be hard explaining this to people who don't understand but I'm glad its getting a bit more awareness now.

  • Thank you :), I'm really glad I'm not the only one who feels like this and you should be glad too! And by the way, I started watching Attack On Titan yesterday, found that they dubbed it in english finally and I watched 13 episodes in one go! It's so epic lol, I can't find english dub for episode 14 so I guess I'll have to wait!

Also started my new adventure, playing watch dogs now, it's also really epic! :D

I get what you mean as well with the tendency to go silent! I think from last year when I started there to the present day now, I rarely start off any conversations, it's always my manager who starts the conversation off then I can talk for a bit to answer the question, I always am just really focused on my daily tasks there, I don't take any notice of anyone elses conversations in the office unless thhey mention me in it completly.

It always feels awequad when I try to start a conversation, it makes me too anxious like I'm thinking the things I'm about to say are not appropiate, or what would they think of me if I say it... would it effect my job role whether they want to keep me there in the future etc. I'm glad my manager is a easy going and very entertaining person to be working with! Considering his age, I don't think there are many people with a awesome sense of humour like him though!

  • Thanks Smile. Yeah, I know what you mean, I always have to find something else to get attached to when I complete a game or something else. I usually listen to soundtracks of my favourites constantly.

Great when you can organise a routine. One of the things I love about the archives is organising the files and paper work to keep everything in a set place Laughing. Nice to hear its going well! Can be hard communicating though like you say. I have a tendency to go silent the more the day goes on.

  • Ah that's good to hear! I wish you all the best for the future, you'll definetly find a job :), I completed Persona 4 a few days ago, quite sad when a game ends though, I feel I need to relate to something else in my imagination now lol.

My apprenticeship's going really well thanks, been there for more than a year now and now I probably know how to do all the basic admin tasks and what the process is and also how they work. Just that it's a bit hard and I always feel awequad there to fit in and understand what is going on, so difficult to communicate with people, other than that, I love my daily same tasks what I do there. It's the same everyday, like a routine of tasks I need to do and get done by that time, everyday adter work, I get home like roughly exactly the same times, game, computer, sleep then the whole routine starts all over again the next day! As long as I have enough time on my own to do all the things I enjoy, I'm ok with work :)

  • I understand completely, I hate when you're really enjoying something but you have too put it aside for other stuff! Especially when you don't know what happens next. Its so hard to stop. I've got an exam next month so have had to try not doing too much other stuff. I've been meaning to get Persona 4 for a while now. I always hear about it being great so would love to try it out. I was gonna get Persona 4 Golden on the vita. I'd definitely recommend Attack on Titan when it does come out Money Mouth. I pre-ordered it a few days ago but did watch it when it came out too.

Nice going being an apprenticeship in admin Cool. That'll definitely come in handy! I'd love to find something like that eventually but there isn't much going where I am so I'm currently volunteering at the archives once every fortnight for a bit of experience so I can hopefully have more chance of getting a job. How's it going so far?

  • Hi cloud8100

I know what you mean about how we get so immersed with our hobbies! Sometimes I love it sometimes I don't, it's quite annoiying, I'm 22, 23 in a few days and I'm in a apprenticeship in admin Laughing, I love it but the problem is, like when I'm really addicted to something, (now it's Persona 4 at the moment, I love gaming, movies etc but I can only be addicted and completly have strong feelings and strong relations to one thing at a time and my brain just imagines I'm in that world all the time!) since being older it;s always working most of the time, I feel like I don't have enough time to do everything I enjoy like Persona 4, it can be time consuming like it wouldm take you ages to progress and it only feels you progressed a little! Then I have to go to bed every night making sure I have enough energy for work again, just irritates me when I really want to just complete it and really want to see what happens next but I don't have the time. But putting all that aside, I love it when I have all the free time I need to do my hobbies, especially when it's weekend time!

I wanted to see Attack On Titan as well! Waiting for a english dub to be released for it, I don'tlike reading and watching at the same, too much work!
