Thank you for posting and telling the community what you are going through.

If you haven’t done so already, we encourage you to speak to a trusted adult, such as a teacher or doctor, about your situation. If you feel that you don't want to speak to an adult that you know, you may want to contact Childline https://www.childline.org.uk/

  • Hi Millie, welcome to the forums.

I'm really sorry you're feeling stress with your exams. Luckily I'm through school now but I remember exam anxiety can be a real struggle, but there are definitely ways to manage it and improve your performance. Here are some tips that might help you.

    Preparation is Key:

    • Start Early: Don't wait until the last minute to begin studying. Cramming can worsen anxiety.

    • Organise Your Materials: Having everything you need readily available can reduce pre-exam stress.

    • Create a Study Schedule: Break down the material into manageable chunks and create a realistic study schedule to avoid feeling overwhelmed.

    • Practice Tests: Take practice exams or quizzes under timed conditions to familiarize yourself with the format and build confidence.

You might also like to check out the National Autistic Society's page on anxiety. There's some helpful tips here.

    Good luck!

Unfortunately only people aged 18+ can use this forum now - when I first joined the age limit was 16, seems to have changed sadly - so you may have your account removed. I thought I would try to help you with this though as I remember what a difficult time it can be.

Take care, best of luck with your exams.
