With a Heavy Heart

Today, I saw a roadkill cat on the road. And I recognised the white paws.

Leah was run over, and killed. Disappointed

I just buried her, half an hour ago, in a disused flower bed; belonging to the previous owner. My neighbour's neighbour brought the carcas over; this evening.

Things got really spooky; recently. Today, my Gran would have turned 100, had she remained alive. Also, with all the shinenigans around the world, I need to take precautionary measures.

  • That is something really awful to have to deal with. years ago my beautiful Snowy was run over not far from my house but I didn't know until a neighbour said they taken a white cat to the local vets that had been killed on the road. I had to identify my wee man which was very traumatic.

    I am an animal lover and know just how attached we become to our animal companions.

    Sending my heartfelt condolences.
