With a Heavy Heart

Today, I saw a roadkill cat on the road. And I recognised the white paws.

Leah was run over, and killed. Disappointed

I just buried her, half an hour ago, in a disused flower bed; belonging to the previous owner. My neighbour's neighbour brought the carcas over; this evening.

Things got really spooky; recently. Today, my Gran would have turned 100, had she remained alive. Also, with all the shinenigans around the world, I need to take precautionary measures.

  • I am extremely sorry that Leah was tragically killed Desmond. I can only imagine how traumatic it would have been to see her lying on the road.

    i don’t have experience of owning a cat, but my neighbour’s cat was recently run over and killed by a car. My cat owner friend told me that all of her previous cats, over 58 years of having owned cats, have ended up killed on the road or have disappeared. 

    I have had dogs for the majority of my life. It is always heartbreaking when a much loved companion dies.
