New character Bruno the Brake car is autistic. He flaps his ladders when he is worried, overwhelmed or excited and has a lantern to let people know about his emotions. He sometimes wears ear defenders.
His character is voiced by an autistic boy, Elliott Garcia. (BBC News app 30/04/25)
