TV shows with autistic people in

Good evening all, was wondering what everyone thought of the latest TV shows featuring real autistic people/actors in.

I was disappointed with Austin on BBC, because I personally would have liked to see the main character as a woman.  I also felt that alot of the mild humour was centred around how he was different and that somehow was supposed to be the thing that was quirky about the show.  Wasn't really sure if that was in turn making fun of him? I may have interpreted that completely wrong!

I loved Dinosaur on BBC with Ashley Storrie co creating and starring as main character.  This felt alot closer to my experiences and could relate in many ways, so I guess that's why I preferred this one.

I just finished the first episode of The Assembly on ITV, with Danny Dyer being quizzed by different types of neurodivergent people, many asking very probing personal questions.  I like Danny Dyer anyway, so I'm biased really but what I appreciated about this episode was the diversity of the questioners.  It felt real and in places emotional. I really liked that they let alot of people who would not usually get on TV, be seen and heard.  I'm interested to see if I enjoy the next episodes coming up.

What do you think of these programmes and do you have any other suggestions for me?  I'm getting really fed up of 'coded' characters in films/TV and would prefer overtly out autistic characters played by a variety of autistic people.
