Does anyone watch people discussing their autism (or specific related topics) on YouTube? And if so, who are your favourites?
I watch two very often: Orion Kelly: That Autistic Guy (from Ausralia) and Autistic Not Alien, aka Neil Laurenson from UK.
Orion has been putting out content for a long time, pand he's even spoken to Neil on one of his videos. Orion Kelly is a very animated guy, with a son who is also autistic. He's full of ideas, tips on how to navigate a neurotypical world, plus a few rants along the way. He also does some long unedited videos where he can sometime have a meltdown, or lose his train of thought, or simply get very passionate with regards things that have annoyed him. It makes him feel real and undiluted.
Autistic Not Alien's Neil is a slightly drier, unassuming sort of chap, who often borders on the humorous side. His wit can sometimes make what he's saying more accessible and relatable and he likes to add little comedy sketches sometimes as means of illustrating his ideas and thoughts.
Both are really good in different ways. But does anyone else have their own preferred autistic content creator?
