Childhood toy

If you could own and play with one of your childhood toys you owned, which would it be?

I would get Barbie Magic of the Rainbow Elina Doll from 2006. I got this one Xmas from my mum and dad and it became my fave toy ever! I played with her every second I could and took her in to my school show and tell every time we had a show and tell….I treasured her. In the end my mum gave her away to a jumble sale because I was too “old” to play with dolls. I was so upset. I’m in my 20s now and still buy and play with dolls, but if I ever find Rainbow Elina again at a good price I’ll buy her in a heartbeat.

To say I was heartbroken when mine was given away is an understatement!

  • My Cluedo board game was my favourite ever - and I now have it as a video game, so I can play it again!

  • I love Cluedo and board games.....I used to be a big fan of it, we had a family game night every Sunday night. Used to play the Game of Life, Monopoly, Cluedo, Operation and Mouse Trap....all I loved to play and the fact we don't do this now still upsets me a little.

We had a Simpsons edition of Cluedo as well. I always wanted to get the Harry Potter edition....never managed to get that one though. Weirdly it is still something I would love to purchase, but whether I actually will I'm not sure.

  • I also bought an expansion pack for the game, which has a polar exploration base as the crime scene and so the rooms and weapons are different - it makes a nice change to the traditional mansion one.

  • What a coincidence - I recently played Lego Harry Potter too! And before that I played Lego Star wars.

My most favourite games are Fallout 4, Assassins creed Origins, Valhalla and Odyssey, Sims 4 and Hogwarts Legacy. I also often play Pure Chess.

I am currently playing the BioShock games - just finished the first one.

  • That sounds mega cool...I will look into buying it for myself as well. I love these extra DLC add ons you can buy for games, I wish more games did it TBH....adds more life to them and keeps them fresh and fun.

What other games do you like to play on your Xbox?
Lately I have been playing the Lego games on my Xbox...I just got the remastered Lego Harry Potter game Slight smile

  • It's an expansion for the Xbox version of Cluedo, called "Polar research station crime scene bundle" and you have to have the base game first to be able to play it. The characters have different titles, for example Professor Plum is Climatologist Plum, the rooms include helipad, crew quarters, research lab, etc, and the weapons include shovel, ice axe and microscope. I prefer this version to the original game.

  • I didn't know you could get extras for them....All the time I played them and never knew that. Polar exploration base sounds an exciting twist, rather than the samey old mansion. Is that your fave one to play or do you prefer the original?
