I finally disclosed my diagnosis to my wife and son today, three months after I received it. I've been struggling and massively overthinking how to do it. My son came back from university today, so I took the plunge while I had them together.
My son said that he wasn't even remotely surprised, his girlfriend is autistic so he recognises the behaviour, my wife said that it was just a label and that it didn't matter.
It was a massive moment, that wasn't. I really don't think I'll make it more broadly known.
