Pet Hate Adoption Service

Everyone has a pet hate, a thing they absolutely loathe that others enjoy, I suggest we each put two or three of our pet hates up for adoption by other site users where they can be loved and appreciated in their "new forever homes", lol.

So for me I'm offering for adoption BBQ's, parcels and presents that are done up so tightly that I have a fight to get into them, like a pair of scissors that needs a pair of scissors to get into the packaging.

  • This thread reminds me of that TV series called "room 101" where guests put forward things they hated and the host decided if they were bad enough to be consigned to oblivion in a fictional room 101.

    I just looked through a list of things they tried to get into room 101 on that programme, and the 3 that I thought should have gone in were:

    Clutter

    Shoelaces

    Fake tan

    I will adopt your Shoelaces. I always carry spares, especially when doing fieldwork or on hikes. I'm still riding the high of that one time my shoelaces actually broke when out on the hill and I was able to just pull out a spare pair.
