Pet Hate Adoption Service

Everyone has a pet hate, a thing they absolutely loathe that others enjoy, I suggest we each put two or three of our pet hates up for adoption by other site users where they can be loved and appreciated in their "new forever homes", lol.

So for me I'm offering for adoption BBQ's, parcels and presents that are done up so tightly that I have a fight to get into them, like a pair of scissors that needs a pair of scissors to get into the packaging.

  • Can you please take self checkout tills? I now actually queue for the human controlled one or two checkouts that are left in the supermarket. I now refuse to use self checkout. It always goes wrong.

    Unexpected item in bagging area? Unexpected by who? Neurotypical mixed  message, we think you’re the thieving is the straight message.

    I have mixed feelings about self service check outs, on the one hand I dislike them as they take jobs from humans and there's the unexpected item in the bagging area, the discounts that don't show up, someone having to verify that I'm old enough to buy booze or scissors. But then not all checkout staff are nice or good at their jobs, I give you waht I call "the slow girls", young wonen probably in thier first job, who sit there with a silly look on thier faces as they put the items through with no sense of urgency, taking as much time as they possibly can to put your shopping through.
