Live Stream Spamming

While the level of invasion that this site is enduring seems very personal (and might be a certain troll we've had recent problems from), it is clear that the live stream spammers are causing trouble elsewhere.

I found this message on an american site, dated September last year open.salon.com/.../to-the-sport-livestreamers-go-away

I don't pretend to understand the context or background of this site, but it has clearly caused the poster some level of anger. And maybe that's what these spammers are trying to achieve. I know what it is doing to me.

It does leave me wondering though why there is no action being taken by Government to deal with this menace. After all its impact is demoralising, at a time of recession, and suggests people who want to harm us as a nation.

Another website called Secure List seems to indicate that similar posts had a link that downloaded a trojan virus, but that may be the ones two years ago bogusly sending tickets. Or is that where the nutter we are dealing with is getting his material.

Something similar was reported in December 2011 affecting facebook www.allspammedup.com/.../  Evidently this sort of malicious spamming has been around for a while.

But who picks on a disability support site to do this sort of thing? Political sites or general community sites may normally be prone to such abuse. But targetting a site aimed at helping people with autism - that really shows a sick mind.

Which I suspect is the root of our current problem. Someone really really sick thinks this is entertainment. Hope it's a soon to be terminal sickness.
