Trump has announced that he thinks all Paletstinians should be moved from Gaza and into neighbouring countries where they can live in nice new modern homes, America will take over Gaza and turn it into a massive resort and it will create lots of jobs and money.

Why should the Palestinians have to give up thier country?

Where would they go? Both Egypt and Jordan have said they can't/won't accept them and why should they, they both have the same pressure with migration the rest of the world has.

Does America intend to fund all these new homes etc and where would they be?

Who would staff all these hotels etc in this new resort?

Where would they live?

Who will profit from this enterprise

Any move to displace the Palestinians would break at least two international treaties, so will Trump be forced to take any notice of the treaties the US has made previously, or does he just intend to ignore them?

Does anyone else think this is a totally stupid idea?

  • I would've supported Palestine in the past. Now, I'm not so sure.

    The real benefactor shall be America's Military Industrial Complex; which we accepted, without question. Any 'Peace Negotiation' would eventually lead to chaos, because one side seeks to eradicate the other. Just as us Catholics tried to do to the Unionists in Northern Ireland.

    I just saw a video; about the rider of the White Horse of the Apocalypse in Revelation 6. The white normally symbolises peace, and purity. However, the rider chose the white horse for the sake of a false sense of Benevolence. Perhaps the False Messiah? Or even the Antichrist, himself?

    Though, ultimately, the Middle East is a distraction from the ongoing tyranny here. Several UK Banking Apps suddenly have Apps which aren't working. Touch wood, I'm with Nationwide. No outages, so far.

    Yes,Trump is enjoying the benefits of MIC but it leaves me cold. Britain is an isolated small island, with increased import/export costs to business thanks to Brexit, so it has to rely on the US not further increasing trade tariffs. Britain’s poor response to human suffering in Gaza, the injustice of illegal shifting borders in Israel/Palestine, and destruction and takeover of Palestinian homes in the West Bank is sickening. Complicity in lack of compassion for the plight of human suffering shown by Trump et al is cruelty in the extreme.
