Update on Technical Issues and Our Next Steps

Hi everyone

Thank you for taking the time to report the technical issues following our platform upgrade. We understand how frustrating and disruptive these challenges have been, and we apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Log in Issues
We’re happy to report that most users can now log into the Online Community. However, we know that some of you are still having difficulties. If you're unable to access your account, please contact us at CommunityManager@nas.org.uk. We can issue a temporary password to help you log in, which you can change once you’re signed in.

Accounts Flagged by Spam Filters or Marked as Abusive
We’re aware that some users’ accounts are being mistakenly flagged by our spam filter or marked as abusive. This can result in posts being held in moderation and, in some cases, notifications about account removal. Please rest assured that no account will be automatically deleted. Account deletion can only be carried out by the Moderation Team.

If your account or posts are affected, please email us at CommunityManager@nas.org.uk and the Moderation Team will approve your posts as quickly as possible.

Additionally, we’ve noted that some private messages from flagged accounts are being sent into moderation. While this is being investigated, we want to reassure you that private messages are not read by the Moderation Team unless the recipient shares with it us when they have concerns about its content or rule violations.

Next Steps
Our IT team is actively working to address these issues, including the spam filter errors and moderation delays. We’re committed to resolving them as soon as possible and will keep you updated on our progress.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we work through these challenges. If you encounter any other issues, please get in touch directly at CommunityManager@nas.org.uk.

Best wishes

    Thanks.

    It shouldn't keep happening though.

It actually states it will remember us but doesn't.

So I can refresh my browser several times a day, remaining logged in, but still have to prove I am human several times.
