Has this site got slow

SInce the maintainance last week or is it something at my end? It's only happening on this site, all the others load quickly and easily, but I get the roundy roundy thing and the three grey dots that turn to three blue dots after almost timing out, cycling through, until eventually the page half loads, then it takes more cycling dots before it loads fully and I can read a post, let alone reply or start a new one.

  • I think what we can all agree on is that there is clearly still an issue after the upgrade, which is disappointing.

    I'm still having it happen today, it's still slow, like it needs a coffee to get it going.

  • It's normal for us to need to log back in from time to time, for account security purposes.

  • Intermittently yes. Sometimes it's ok and other times slow. Had issues getting it to load at all this morning.

  • Currently extremely slow. Around 1 minute per page load

  • Which is not what you would expect of a modern cloud hosted SaaS product, which is what I thought this was supposed to be.

    These solutions are still prone to other aspects of their environment affecting performance.

    If there is a DDoS attack on another server in the same Virtual environment as them then it is quite possible there will be a know on impact on network load and even the processing resources available.

    There are a load of things that can go wrong in the new virtual environments - I've had to deal with these for companies for years.

    However good the new environments claim to be, the problems soon catch up with them.

  • I got logged out while using this site earlier today, but I logged straight back in without difficulty. Otherwise, I haven’t noticed any other issues.

  • No my mobile’s on 5G when out and WiFi at home.

    It seems okay at the moment. Feels like someone rebooted something after this afternoon’s slowness.

  • If it's worse on your mobile then it must be at dial up speed? My lap top is slow.

  • Yes, but it seems to be worse on my mobile than on my laptop
