why are web sites so poorly designed!

I need some new pillows, thinking I'd avoid the aggravation of going into Bangor and fighting my way through the shops I'd look online, simples you'd think, but no no no, by the time I've fought my way through the cookie options and actually get to the bedding section, I look at options and guess what? No feather pillow option, options for everything else, but not feather, why the crap design? I find this more and more on websites, they try and sell you everything except what you've asked for?

Window shopping online is even worse than actually going into shops!

    I try and not use amazon for everything, I also like to feel things like pillows before I buy them, I looked on the website of the shop I usually get them from.

    Trying to sell me memory foam pillows dosen't work as any sort of bait for me, having a massive latex allergy I would be too afraid to go to sleep in case I didn't wake up again.

    WHy does anyone need a choice of 200, especially when many of the are sponsered ads for things you  don't want?

    I wonder if the internet would discombobulate if a site actually returned the search results that it was asked for?
