why are web sites so poorly designed!

I need some new pillows, thinking I'd avoid the aggravation of going into Bangor and fighting my way through the shops I'd look online, simples you'd think, but no no no, by the time I've fought my way through the cookie options and actually get to the bedding section, I look at options and guess what? No feather pillow option, options for everything else, but not feather, why the crap design? I find this more and more on websites, they try and sell you everything except what you've asked for?

Window shopping online is even worse than actually going into shops!

  • Even using online search engines when looking for something is a pain, even when using the “correct” search terms and “keywords” - I’ve even used “assistant” and versions of AI and “search bots” in desperation and still no joy, even when using voice commands - within the history of the internet and all the advances made since the 80’s they still can’t even get that basic thing right and it’s so frustrating - it’s no wonder they brought in QR codes on mobile phones and displayed them on their websites and even on videos, otherwise you would be there for days
