Has anything changed

I've learned when threads need filtering out by myself and what to read and when! Sometimes curiosity gets the better of me and I wish it didn't.

There are some people who's threads and posts I skim read because I know they'll annoy me, but every now and again my inner cat comes out and I have to tease them

I am trying very hard to ignore posts or threads that might trigger me. This is perhaps easier just now because I just don’t have the energy to engage.

Yes there have been fewer spats than usual, probably everybody is busy doing other things, I'm sure the site will return to normal over xmas when everybody's bored with visitors, overstuffed with pastries, rich food and fizzy drinks,

Or maybe some of the more contravercial posters have been quieter, or there have been fewer posts that get in amongst people?

Or maybe like me, they've just given up even trying to have conversations that might raise anyones ire, it's just not worth the effort, they either turn to mud slinging matches or somebody decides its all a massive joke.

The only real change is that there are fewer active posters, sadly.

The number one thing I wanted from the new forum was the ability to mute people and threads but we didn’t get that. It’s really just a new lick of paint on the old site.

At least people seem to be being nice to each other at the moment
