Ggrrr, that woody book site

You know the one, the one that sells everything. I've just tried looking at a couple of my favourite authors only to have to scroll through loads and loads of "sponsered ads" and very little of what I actually asked for...again and why is it always so slow and bad on a sunday and midweek afternoons?

  • You can get adblockers for most browsers. I can’t believe that people don’t use them more. I have used them since the early days of the internet. I hate advertising so much and will actively not buy a product I see advertised. You can get brave browser which comes with a decent inbuilt adblocker.

  • Thanks Jude, I'm a total technoklutz and don't know how to install things and it all goes wrong even when I have instruction, (more like distructions in my case), I won't buy things I see advertised either, not unless I was going to buy it anyway.

Does the adblocker of which you speak include ads on a site like the "woody book site" as it's all internal ads?
