You know the one, the one that sells everything. I've just tried looking at a couple of my favourite authors only to have to scroll through loads and loads of "sponsered ads" and very little of what I actually asked for...again and why is it always so slow and bad on a sunday and midweek afternoons?

  • If you're on a phone, or tablet, you can delete your Advertising ID; to prevent any further harvesting of your data. I did it on all my Android devices, and did the same for my Artist friend's Samsung and one of his two tablets; the other one was out of juice while I was at his, on Friday morning.

    I use my lap top, I have no phone or tablet. As far as I know I don't have an advertising ID, I get all these sponsered ads even though I have adblock, they just seem to be a part of using the site. I do wonder though if because I buy so little and don't watch films, or listen to music, play games etc, that it throws stuff at me because it dosen't know me.
