Hello this is my first time posting so please be nice. My 17 year old son has just been refused a driving licence because of his Aspergers, has anyone known of this happening before?

  • That is odd if they did it out right. My brother is learning to drive and has taken a test didn't even mention his aspergers as far as I know. I found learning much too stressful so gave up.

    Just read the DVLA website and it says they cannot out right refuse someone a licence with 'developmental disorders' which they list aspergers under. But will consider each case individually.
