Music Therapy. Thoughts?

Music therapy is one of the few therapies I’ve had that I’ve actually felt better after doing.

I love music tho it’s one of the only things that actually makes me feel emotions sometimes and listening to it and discussing it in a therapy session did me a lot of good at one point. Music flows through my veins just happens to look like blood ^^

Shame cause I loved it and felt better with it but the therapist stopped doing the sessions in the end cause she moved away and now I miss that.

I listen to music on a daily basis first thing in the morn and last thing before I go back to bed. Music gets me through each day

Music therapys worked well for me in the past curious if anyone else has used it before?

  • I read the link and I can't say I really understand it any better, I don't think it would be for me, I'd be afraid of enering with a piece of music I loved and coming out hating it because it had been over analysed. I've also come to the conclusion that I don't listen to music the way as others do, certainly not singing, I rarely listen to the actual lyrics and the meaning, but I just wanted to copy precicely the sounds that were being made. Often what the lyrics "are supposed to mean" go right over my head and I don' connect with them I'm the same with poetry.
