Music Therapy. Thoughts?

Music therapy is one of the few therapies I’ve had that I’ve actually felt better after doing.

I love music tho it’s one of the only things that actually makes me feel emotions sometimes and listening to it and discussing it in a therapy session did me a lot of good at one point. Music flows through my veins just happens to look like blood ^^

Shame cause I loved it and felt better with it but the therapist stopped doing the sessions in the end cause she moved away and now I miss that.

I listen to music on a daily basis first thing in the morn and last thing before I go back to bed. Music gets me through each day

Music therapys worked well for me in the past curious if anyone else has used it before?

    I really like this expression/analogy. Music is also a barometer. Personally, something is going awry if there's no bandwidth for music. When there's bandwidth,  goodness, music is one of the JOYS of this world. Singing, in whatever context is good therapy as it activates the vagus nerve. I miss playing instruments.

    I completely resonate with your perspective on music as a barometer for our emotional and mental state. It’s fascinating how music can reflect inner experiences and even influence well-being it's the best form of therapy and medication for me personally

    When I'm stressed music takes a back seat but I try not to let it get like that. I need music on a daily basis it helps me stay cool and get me through the day.

    What instruments did you enjoy playing? I don't play any but I do sing ^^
