Temporary Password for access to account

Hi

I'm back and going mad.

Just got access to my account via a temporary password. At last I can reply to posts (if I want to).

Was about to give up the ghost and disappear in to the ether over gaining access to my account.

Just need to wait until I can change the temporary password now.

    Don’t worry it has taken me until now to figure anything out and I have had it explained to me multiple times by some very kind and helpful people on here. 
    The answer is no, I would make a note of your temporary password (just in case) but you use that temporary password until the moderators have got everything sorted and then we will all be able to change our temporary password to one we can choose ourselves. I am quite confident about that but please correct me anyone if I am wrong.

    Hope you get it sorted out of sight

    Keep / save the temporary password and treat it as your official password until site is sorted out.

    Nothing about any of this seems obvious to me either.  I'm checking out / rolling over / scooting off....till the crowds have passed through this magical new portal of a temporary something into a past of whatever.....which can't be reset yet, but might be possible at some point soon.

    As clear as tar.
