How have we all been?

So, the forums are back up and running, allegedly, although it looks like many can't actually log in without creating a new account.

I've spent the last few days being busy, walking and gardening, I've got nearly all my bulbs in now, although I think I may need a few more.

I completed the almost futile task of sending my xmas list a my friend who requests one every year and ignores it. I write down what I want and what sites to get it from, give plenty of choice, what sizes etc, but no thats far to easy, much better to either ignore it completely or see it as a challenge to get whatever it is at half the price and then wonder why it dosen't fit or work.

What have you lot been up to?

  • We've had our 3 granddaughters staying over since Sunday. Had a great time. We're very tired now took them back earlier this evening. Im back at work tomorrow. 

  • I went for a walk, with an old school friend, then visited my Artist friend. The plan was to take the latter friend to town. However, he already cabbed it, and back, whenever I arrived. However, it did allow me to head to town, afterwards, and buy the two LPs I planned to get; having noticed them, last Thursday.

    Hope is nicking my tea, again! And I'm reorganising. My cleaner came, this morning, and she left the kitchen shining. However, I also have to deal with the local Farmer's wife, as the hedge-cutter bloke her son commissioned left residue in my backyard, and the local Council; as the binmen didn't collect my Brown Bin today.
