Hi if have ASD do you have more rights at work disciplinary.

during my investigation at work I was terrified in the office never been good at them situations  felt overwhelmed and could not answer anything . I was signed off sick before my disciplinary as my mental health took a nose dive as loosing my routine during 2 day susoension was a killer , and was just diagnosed with ASD During this period .i was supposed to go for my disciplinary two days later but could not was not mentally well enough . At the investigation they kept firing questions at me . Some one told me they should have given me a list of allegations at the end of the meeting * but they never so I could not prepare for the next meeting which was the disciplinary. Unfair I thought . My employer ask why you got tested now for ASD I said cos I always felt different and my therapist said she shaw I have ASD . I now have my meeting coming up and feel more confident being the . I am long serving member employee . I have been the but of people’s jokes for a long time . I know I different but not in a bad way .i know  my traits can be annoying and misunderstood but that’s all . I find when people do bad things not morally right in the work place offensive . 
will the equality act help me. I just want my employer understand I just different and not a problem . Getting the diagnosis is me trying to move forward
