As I look at the wonderful young man you have become, I see more
I see the beautiful baby that I carried and pushed into the world
I see the young child who I could make better with a hug and a kiss
I see the child who started school and then Beaver Scouts
I see the boy going to his first camp and coming back tired and smelly
I see the boy who struggled with school as they didn’t understand him
I see the boy who enjoyed taking part in the Hinckley Gang Show
I see the boy who was confused when he was told he had Aspergers
I see the young man who cares for his family and friends
I see the young man who is working at a job he loves
I see the young man who is going to be a Cub Scout Leader
I see the young man who has a brilliant future ahead of him
I see a young man who fills my heart with love and pride
