Uta Frith on Radio 3 (Autism Awareness Day)

Just found out that the development psychologist with views on autism and dyslexia, Professor Uta Frith, is being interviewed every morning this week, at about 10.30 am, on BBC Radio 3, with her choices of music. Its a kind of up-market Desert Island Discs.

Don't know how many if any are regular Radio 3 listeners, but it is interesting that BBC have made the gesture around Autism Awareness Day 2nd April, of bringing on a psychologist interested in autism.

Its an opportunity to get some insight into one of the psychologists who profess to know all about us.

But also maybe NAS ought to have spotted this gesture being made.

  • Thanks to longman for pointing this radio programme out to us all. I listened to the first episode on repeat this afternoon, and enjoyed learning a little more about Uta Frith, who I much admire.

Have you been listening to this programme Longman, and of so, what are your thoughts on it?
