I think it would be really nice if we had some way of doing polls on this site. Get some real data on what our fellow site users think and feel about all sorts of things. Does anyone know about a next-best-thing we could use in the meantime?
The trouble with polls is they only give you a narrow range of views, you need more than yes/no/don't know. Don't know often means more information please, they can give skewed results and polls are notorious for being worded to give the results the person commissioning it wants.
