Anyone else confused by and struggling to navigate this post?...

If so, maybe someone who understands what's going on can salvage it, summarise/continue it, split it, restart it or something else?
But maybe, I'm the only struggling/put off.. dunno..

It's just the 1st word that comes into your head after reading the latest post.
Threads here get confusing when there are replies and replies to replies. This is because the ordering makes no sense to anyone but the developers of the board.
Is suggest that you always make a new top level reply. That should keep it neat.
