Hope brought in a rat, she killed, this afternoon.
Gross, I bet she left you the feathers? I try and deter Muriel from catching birds.
Yes they are like flying spiders! What a nightmare.. they seem to always aim for my face as well. Eughhh.. yes I couldn't sleep with a spider in the room either.
Daddy Long Legs freak me out, they're like flying spiders! Spiders really freak me out too, I've had to sleep elsewhere in the house because there's a spider in my bedroom.
Amazing, I don't think I'd cope well with that. I feel invaded if a daddy long legs flys in atm. A rat would be too much. I actually love tame rats, had many lovely ones as pets. It's the uninvited invasion I would struggle with.
My old Tiggy cat decided that I needed to learn to hunt, maybe because somewhere in his catty brain he wondered if the reason I don't eat meat is because I don't know how to hunt? He started bringiing me small prey items, and they started to get less dead and injured as I "got better" at catching things, until the day when I ended up running round our small hall beating a small rat to death with a slipper. After that he stopped, I think he decided I did know how to hunt, but didn't.
My cat brings rats and mice in and leaves them alive for me to catch
It took me two days once to catch a rat that was in the bedroom, it was a young speedy one
Good, having had a rat infestation in a house I was living in, they need discouraging. Muriel caught and killed a big one the other day too.
