Moonshadow, Oran G. Utan and myself (Mark (formerly Spikey)) started Autistic Chess Club last week. Today we had out first game and it was quite fun.
If you want to join, all you have to do is have an account on Chess.com (it's anonymous) and put your username for it here, then befriend the users that you see in this thread. When they next log into Chess.com they will add you back.
So far we have:
Rules (these rules are just a joke, and are ripped off from Fight Club)
[I have just seen that there was already an Autistic Chess Club several years ago. Anyone from way back then is welcome too.
FINALLY: Today was probably my 6th ever game in my life. I am no good and not very likely to play much myself, but I thought it a good idea to get members together elsewhere anonymously too.
Played 5 rounds of draughts against My-Low-Gee-An today. I also lost 5 rounds of draughts today. Well played.
I'm having a sleepless night. I'll see how I feel tomorrow.
I'm free most days. If you wanna drop a PM I'm sure we could play tomorrow, for instance.
Just put a friend request in or tell us your username , we will add you to our friends list
Let me know when you are available.
I got you added too.
I'm extremely rusty and quite bad if I do say so myself.
I am probably going to be way for a few days from tomorrow, but ask for chess.com friendship and give your username here. The others will accept you, and I will when I get back.
Accepted!
I would be interested in joining. I used to play a couple years back with friends of mine. I'll send my chess.com username:
Profile picture should be an image of a droideka from Star Wars.
Yeah it's been a long time since I'm played a game of draughts, so I'd certainly be interested.
If you or anyone else would be interested in playing me at draughts/checkers I would be keen. I am fairly good so I would be half a challenge to even a Chess player. I use Flyordie.com
Had my first matches against Mark and Moonshadow yesterday. Good games and sporting players, both of them. Looking forward to the next matches, whoever wishes to play.
Yeah of course. There's no exclusions here.
I need to recover from burnout. Then I need to learn how to play. So in a decade I'll be ready to play.
Anyones allowed to join right? (From the forum I mean)
P.S. You should BOTH request friendship on chess.com, but ALSO put your chess username here. This is so we know who is asking and so we know the difference between the random invites that appear on the site.
Lights off, socks on, Billy Joel on the stereo.
I know that Chess.com has an option for creating clubs, though it's a little bit over my head. Maybe someone more familiar with the site can figure that one out. I would like to submit "pASD pawn" as a club name, and had an AI put together an accompanying image.
Is eye contact allowed? lol
