What have you been up too today?

I've had a long walk with my dog, then I went and tried to find something to tell my DiL to get me for xmas, she wants our lists early so as she can do her financial planing. I've been to the library and the garden centre, where I got a pack of free daffodil bulbs.

I think tomorow will be spent gardening

  • We spent last couple of days with a friend in London. He works for salvation army. Always disturbing to see people who are homeless in awful situations wherever they are. I asked SA officer we met who is taking care of them now in central L. He said another NGO got contract for helping people who have alcohol and drug addiction who are homeless. And scanning for vulnerable people in city who may need support. SA now support people to get skills to live in a home and find homes. Thankful that this support is in place. Still feel disturbed from visit and with all sensory issues etc glad to be home and glad I managed visit. Staying at home for next couple of days.
