Ssfs (schools and families specialist services)? And school action?

Hi,

has anyone had a referral to schools and family's specialist services? ssfs  I'm told they are a team of special needs teachers that give advice and support to family's with young children with special needs including autism.

one of the problems at the moment is that my daughters primary school seem to be of the opinion that she's fine at school and that its a problem with her parents as she's good at school. That not to worry she's behind as she's only 4

The forms for this ssfs refereal which the school have had to fill out says she's not at the standard she should be in her personal emotion development and is 16-26 months age wise. They say not to worry well I really am now I've read that!

also it says that she is receiving school action, and she might need school action plus at a later date. As far as I'm aware she isn't receiving anything like this, the last conversation we had with them they said they simply don't have time to devote extra time to one child.

it seems that its been written to cover their asses and put all blame back onto her parents as her behaviour is only at home with us apparently.
