onesie wednesday 2nd April coming

Now forgive me being a bit of a misery and cynic, but can someone please elucidate "onesie Wednesday" - maybe a NAS Moderator, as this is a NAS instigated fund raising event.

For one thing the idea that anyone wore attire like this was a revelation for me. Is this more American....or maybe a London thing.....?

But I wonder too what some spectrum folks think of rattling buckets in a crowded street wearing one piece pyjamas in a weird design.......

  • My heart goes out to the volunteers doing the collecting in railway stations - this isn't going to be an easy one for them. But I guess it is up there with dressing as a banana, or various party animals - and it will entertain travellers.

And hopefully it will raise lots of usable money.

I'm trying to see the good in it, but unfortunately I am rather caught up with the feeling NAS has missed the point of autism difference. And thereby hangs a larger problem.....
