updated criteria

if it is permissable i will be able to ubdate the community on the draft criteria so i can see how baddly shafted the spectrum will be.

i dont know about how others feel with the changes.

but they fill me with fear. i dislike change of this magnitude.

if having a sneak peak of the changes would help i will post them once i know

  • Well ive had the test assessment under the current paperwork and such and there was no confedentiality agreement.

the form itself was fairly thick but less of them inutae of things.

the question were less of a tick this box and more of an explain how your condition effects you in this way.

most of the questions were fairly obvious the first was what disabilitys you have, as a list before she asked about specifics

a few odd questions on there which stood out were

do you have any specialist equipment

i have a few things for hygine and sensory control.

    and what are your hobbies.

it seems the gov is going down a more open route then a do you fit in this box as is the current one. the standard gait spine hands test was there as was a brief vision and hearing test,

interestingly aso has lost the monopoly on the assesment andg4s has recieved some of the work load,

the assassor seemed to be knowadgeable and i was allowed a support worker.

other questions were describe a typical day.

how much help do you need with personal care

    and other such.

basically i think the gov is planning to use hobbies and other such thigns as an excuse for why we 'can' work so if you put hobby as gardening thel look at you a bit odder.

i still think were in for a rough ride but everything helps , this is the 2nd draft of the paper work and such and should be fairly close to final, personal care is going to be the make or break for many i think.

im sorry i dont remember more but my short term memory is faulty  i forgot to record it

if anyone has any specific questions ill try to help,

    hope this help.
