I enjoy playing video games on my PS3 and DS. I enjoy playing with my friends online and co-op as well as having some time to play by myself.

Our household is really into board games, including my son, aged 10, who has Aspergers. He plays well above his age for most games, and also enjoys playing games with figures (Heroscape, Lord of the Rings, Hoards of the Things), both with my husband and on his own. He'll do this for hours, which is great as it means he's not staring at a screen.
The board games with others teach him a lot of social skills too. He's not good at waiting his turn, or at losing, but with help is improving and in some particular games behaves better than his older brother when he doens't do well.
I have always loved console and pc games right back to Pacman on the Atari and way of the exploding fist on the Spectrum 16k. Nowadays it is mainly online rpgs, I was hooked on World of Warcraft for a bout 5 years but like Jamjam I couldn't intercact with others I didn't know!! I now play Lord of the Rings online which is more of a roleplay game which I love but again only with people I know. I still play D&D with my wife and a couple of friends and also love painting the minatures to go along with it. Console gaming these days is the Assasins Creeds games and NBA 2k series, but probably the game that opened my eyes the most was Halo, after so many years of thinking Goldeneye on the N64 was king this just blew it out of the water!!
I love playing my DS. My favourite games are Pokemon and harvest moon. I like games where you can collect a bunch of stuff.
I used to play a lot of 3d platformers when I was younger and...this makes me sound old. Still really love the old Gamecube games.
I don't really play that many video games, anymore. (However, I am looking forward to buying a 3DS and being able to replay Metal Gear Solid 3 in the near future!)
The video games that I tend to play are ones with a lot of longevity or side quests, such as Fallout 3, Fable 2, and the Grand Theft Auto games. My all-time favourite game is "GTA - Vice City", with "Perfect Dark" (the N64 original) as a very close second.
One of my aspie obssesive interests are tabletop roleplaying games. My favourites are the three Doctor Who RPGs (especially the Cubicle 7 one), Serenity, and Victoriana 2nd edition. I also like the system GURPS has it has lots of sourcebooks. I am also interested in re-enactment and LARPing; one of my hobbies is collecting Doctor Who inspired LARP props.
I am abit like you Jamjam I can feel abit anxious playing multiplayer games. I tend to just play offline or play with my friends online.
I wthink your idea for a group would be good, I would join. Though I only have my PS3 to play online with.
My favourite game series are Final Fantasy, Pokemon and Soul Calibur. I find it difficult to pick out certain games.
I am currently playing a mix of things, I would like to be playing Portal 2 and Infamous 2 but as I lack funds, I am playing other peoples old games - currently Darksiders and Batman: Arkham Asylum.
Hi,
Bit of a gamer myself mainly on xbox 360 and PC myself.
Currently playing a lot of Pinball FX2 on the 360 and Grand Ages: Rome on PC.
Favourite games are always hard for me to pick. I guess I'd probably go for Battlefield Bad Company 2, the original Tron arcade game and The Secret of Monkey Island.
How about you?
