I have been blessed with a rigid face (aka ‘flat affect’) and a voice that would lull an insomniac to sleep in seconds. This deadly combination seems quite common amongst autistic people. My emotions are often random and intense, but you wouldn’t know it just to look at me. People make quick judgements, and my face & voice are reasons to dismiss me as a robotic bore.

Do you want to change this aspect of yourself? Just curious as there are ways to do this if you are unhappy with it.
Yes, I would like a more varied voice and more expressive face. Curious about ways to change this! Sounds like an effort though, and I'm a tired 42-year-old.

It would be quite a lot of work.
I was going to suggest working with a mix of acting lessons and a voice coach - they can train you to act (the same as masking when you think about it) so you can understand what needs to be done to make your speech behave in the way you want.
