What wildlife have you seen recently?

Homebird

I have seen very few butterflies this year. There is a walk I do near home and most summers I regularly see speckled wood butterflies there, but not yet this year. However I saw a beautiful sight this morning, a bright green dragonfly.

Parents

  • I have a mother and baby deer that come in my garden a lot. Sometimes they come right up to my window about 3 feet away.  They always cheer me up.

    I'm also very fond of a blackbird that comes in. There's also a red kite that I sometimes see when I'm out and about.
