Security warning on using this site

Hi all,

Some of you have noticed there's a warning that flashes up when you visit our site.

In short, your details are still secure, as they go through the main site which still has it's SSL certificate and will continue to be secure. 

We just need to clarify some technical points and then we'll renew the SSL certificate to prevent those warnings flashing up.

  • To be honest I don't think people are reassured by that. And I note it is still recurring - hit me ten minutes ago, but I closed and came back on a few minutes later and it worked.

    I do think you've got to get this sorted, rather than suggest we try to ignore it. Some users' security (mine included) gets snotty if you even try to override it.

    It also puzzles me. This discussion forum is effectively a help line. There must be other essential sites for disabled groups that could get this. Surely there is some provision that prevents sites from providing such services being hit like this?
