I've been with my girlfriend for 6 years but we haven't had sex for 5 years, am I abnormal ?

All my relationships go the same way, its non stop sex for the first 3 months at almost every single opportunity then it slowly peters out and I gradually lose interest and then after about a year or so I lose interest completely.

I wonder why she is staying with me, I have already said she can find another man.

I love her but shes more like my sister and I can't even think about anything sexual towards her.

Is this part of my asc ?

  • Well personally I wouldn't say you were abnormal, it's just how you feel and that's always the best thing to follow. It's a good sign that she is patient and seems to understand you, that's most likely why she doesn't mind. if you're concerned you could talk to your GP, I believe a low sex drive can be due to various problems such as depression, but it could well be down to being aspie. I've never had a proper boyfriend because I struggle with people and I know I would be the same as you, at first you're heads in the right place for it, but then it goes a way and you're not interested in it anymore. I don't think I'd be able to find someone who understands that, but you have and that's great so as long as you both seem happy, thats all that matters!!
