My Equality Poem

Hi Everyone

I just wanted to share a poem that I wrote originally back in 1992 and I rewrote it in 1999 and again in 2021 during Covid lockdown. During the Covid lockdown, I wrote another 40 + short poems like this one to keep my mind busy so that I could cope with my mental health.

I will share more poems although I have copyrighted them but due to community rules I can't publish the copyright here because it would identify me personally with personal details.

                                                                                          Equality

Equality is a pendulum with a gentle sway; it swings that way and this, and everyone gets a say.

Respect another’s opinion, no matter how diverse it seems; thank them for their thoughts with a smile that beams.

Some people prefer swimming whilst others prefer boats; but always remember, it’s different strokes, for different folks.
