To Spread The Word

If any of you were to finish a novel, how would you go about letting people know about it?

I had the idea of printing leaflets out and having them sent out via a local newsagent, for a fee of course.

I know it's not an orthodox discussion, but if you were to get word out on anything, how would you folks do it?

  • Good shout on the leaflets. I think social media is a good platform to spread your book on as well, plus if you were to get a following in the future it's a good place to update people on any future books you might do :) 

    Wish you every success with your book. I hope it turns out how you want and is well received. I've written a lot of books, none published, but just finishing them has been a huge success to me.

    I appreciate it very much. I will come out with my head held high whatever the outcome. All I truly want, is to finish what I started. If it succeeds, I shall continue on, but if not, then I shall keep them close as moments :) 

    Luckily, where I live is a close-knit community and that alone makes it quite the useful feature. I even know the owner of the local press, perhaps he could do me a favour
