I was told to watch this (Series?) a while back, and have yet to get around to it,
Recenlty it's come up a lot in conversation and appears in the article I'm about to attach.
USUAL WARNING APPLIES: Zerohedge is a niche interest, and (for me) news aggregation site.
I find the comments section at various times, appalling, educational, amusing, interesting, occasionally repulsive, but never boring. You have been warned.
The article however, is I found immensely interesting, & thought provoking.
When they make these so that I can see other spectrums that normally my eyes are not sensitive to, measure the hotspots around my motorcycle exhaust system etc, and look like geordi LaForges visor, then I'll need a pair.
I wonder how long it will take some yank to slave a gun to this system so that they can randomly shoot at whatever they are looking at?
It would be nice to be able to use that mixed reality for drone flying...
