As the title says...I personally like chess. I've been learning it since last year and following tutorials online. Anyone else?

  • I like chess, I'm half decent to some degree but I've never taken to playing it massively. I used to like the physical sets, I had a few chess sets over the years and most have never been used. I wouldn't call it a collection as such but I do like all the different pieces and boards, wood/glass/metal/plastic. When it comes to playing I never had anyone to play with and didn't really enjoy playing with myself but every in person match I'd played I have won. Eventually I did play some virtual chess against AI and real people and I hit around about 1,600 rating (I think I was 1,640 last I checked). I do find it quite relaxing from time to time.
