Above anything else, I don't know what the poster is trying to convey.

"This morning he had a runny nose, look at him now" - so it's okay to send kids to school even if they're sick?

Yes that’s exactly the message the campaign is sending! Despite the fact that in doing so this will cause outbreaks of illness and potentially lead to parents not trusting their young people when they feel ill or under too much stress to attend school.

This will deny young people agency and suggests that they should go against their natural instincts.

Me too, I deactivated my Twitter account at the end of last year (and automatically deleted when not reactivated within 30 days I think).

Yes I completely understand why, as this campaign shows attendance is usually always prioritised over wellbeing.

Absolutely or at the very least investigate reasons for not being able to attend school (preferably by listening to lived experiences.)

Yeah. I always used to get wound up by things like "100% attendance awards" (and I still think they're unhelpful).

I'm glad other people are taking care of all that. I'd probably end up swimming in the (justified) anger if I was on Twitter and it wouldn't have been good for me.

Absolutely! I completely agree! Thankfully there is lots of backlash and criticism of the campaign being shared online though.

It just feels like it trivialises things. Yes, you probably couldn't fit all the nuances of it on a poster.

Which is a good reason not to do it!
